Kid Stakes won two awards

Best Play Production

Best Rural Community Production

It was a bonus to find out that MMuDS play Kid Stakes, that I directed in 2024, was nominated in several categories. While I don’t take awards as validation of what was done it is a nice acknowledgment’ Everybody associated with this production did an outstanding job and it showed during the performances. I think Ray Lawler would have been proud. Lets do more Australian Theatre and showcase more Australian stories. In a world where the culture of Hollywood dominates lets give our audiences an opportunity to hear and see our stories.

  • Achievement in Stage Management.

  • Achievement in Direction.

  • Achievement in Production.

  • Best Play Production

The awards night will be held on the 23rd May 2025
